Bracket Style Tournament: Single elimination, winner advances, loser is out.
Rules: All play governed by USGA Match Play Rules. Local rules may be in effect.
80% of course handicap used for scoring
Scoring is 2 man Low Ball/Low Total format. Each hole is worth 2 points. 1 point for team low ball and 1 point for low team total. Low ball or Low Total ties will be awarded ½ point
All players will play their previously declared tee box
Players are responsible for scheduling their own matches and booking tee times. They should make every effort to agree on a mutually convenient time before the deadline.
A deadline day will be set for each round and noted in the bracket pairings.
By the deadline day, a tee time will be assigned between 10 am and 2 pm (based on availability).
If one player doesn't show up by the tee time, the other player will win and advance to the next round.
If both players can't make it, a coin toss will determine who advances.
Match play sudden death will start on hole #1 or #10 depending on starting hole, with handicaps on designated holes.
The HH men’s club will be updated with match results. It is up to the players to check the web site to see who they will be playing next.
Doubles match seeding will be based on the team average finishing position from last year’s doubles play.
