Handicaps and Scoring
  • All players must have a CURRENT USGA GHIN handicap to compete in all events

  • All events will use 80% of the players GHIN course handicap as of the Friday prior to event start unless otherwise noted in the event rules.

  • Scores must be submitted according to USGA rules to maintain a fair and accurate handicap.

  • Members must submit ALL scores for all play including non-Men’s club events.

  • Integrity Matters: Misusing the handicap system or submitting false scores is considered cheating and will not be tolerated.

  • If your scores raise concerns, we'll reach out to discuss and if necessary, adjust your handicap manually.

  • First Incident: We'll address the issue verbally and may adjust your handicap.

  • Second Incident: Similar approach to the first, with potential suspension from Men's Club tournaments for the season.

  • Third Incident: Exclusion from Men's Club events.

  • Guest Handicaps: Sponsors are responsible for verifying guest handicaps for the Member-Guest event. Inconsistent handicaps will be adjusted based on past indexes.

  • Players are strongly encouraged to become familiar with the USGA GHIN app and to know how to view current  index(s) and course handicaps.

  • Scorecards: The pro shop handles scorecard entry for all eight Men's Club events. Please return your card immediately after finishing your round.

  • Committee Membership: Interested in contributing to fairness and accuracy. Inquire at the pro shop about joining the Rules & Handicap Committee.
